7. Connected Social Media Accounts

Authorized Berry Homes staff may connect official company YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok accounts to display company posts and videos on the Site. Visitors do not need to connect their own accounts.

We request read access needed to identify the connected channel, professional account or Facebook Page and retrieve its publications. For TikTok, this is basic profile information and the public video list. For YouTube, owner-authorized access also allows us to read uploaded-file dimensions so videos can be displayed in the correct proportions. We import only YouTube videos marked public; private and unlisted YouTube videos are excluded from the feed. Our integration does not request permission to publish, edit or delete content on any connected platform or read private messages.

We store the connected account’s identifier and display name, public profile link, and imported publication information such as captions, publication dates, original links, cover-image URLs and available media dimensions. OAuth access and refresh tokens are encrypted on our server and are not exposed to public visitors. Imported metadata is refreshed during synchronization while the account remains connected and enabled.

Google API data is used only to provide the social-feed and media-display features described here. It is not sold or used for advertising or training generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models. Google’s use of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Berry Homes’ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Authorized staff can disconnect an account in Social Feed. For YouTube, Instagram and Facebook, this unlinks credentials locally; platform authorization can also be revoked in the provider’s account settings. Disconnecting TikTok additionally attempts to revoke its token with TikTok. Imported public posts may remain after disconnection until explicitly deleted.

To delete saved connection credentials and imported publications, including the hidden archive, follow our social account data deletion instructions. Account owners without access to the website administration area can request removal using our contact form. Security audit records and backup copies follow their normal retention cycle.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

However, no website, electronic transmission, or data storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Berry Homes is not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of third-party websites.
